W tej chwili otwarty jest konkurs na doktoranta (z terminem zgłaszania kandydatur do 5 czerwca 2020). Stypendium wynosi 4500 zł miesięcznie na okres 36 miesięcy, z możliwością uzyskania finansowania również z innych źródeł. Głównym miejscem pracy doktoranta będzie Toruń lub Kraków. Projekt badawczy dotyczy fascynującego styku kilku teorii, między innymi: kombinatoryki, teorii reprezentacji, rachunku prawdopodobieństwa, teorii macierzy losowych, wolnej probabilistyki Voiculescu.

description of research interests:

There is an open contest for a PhD fellowship with the application deadline June 5, 2020. The value of the scholarship is 4500 PLN per month for 36 months, with possibility of additional funding from other sources. The main place of work is the town of Toruń or the city of Kraków. The research project concerns a fascinating interface between combinatorics, representation theory, probability theory, random matrix theory and Voiculescu’s free probability.
