Ekspert w dziedzinie teorii przestrzeni i nowych koncepcji urbanistycznych, adiunkt w Katedrze Geografii Miast i Planowania Przestrzennego, Wydziału Geografii i Studiów Regionalnych Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Od wielu lat związany jest również z Wydziałem Architektury Politechniki Warszawskiej, gdzie uzyskał tytuł magistra, doktora inżyniera architekta oraz obronił habilitację. Otrzymał wyróżnienie za najlepszą pracę naukową w Ogólnopolskim Konkursie Ministra Infrastruktury za pracę doktorską na temat zmian w rozwoju miast podzielonych. Jego rozprawa habilitacyjna na temat teorii przestrzeni w suprematyzmie została wyróżniona przez Radę Naukową Wydziału Architektury Politechniki Warszawskiej. W czasie kadencji 2011–2014, po mianowaniu, pełnił funkcję konsultanta naukowego Komitetu Prognoz „Polska 2000 Plus” PAN. Publikacje na tematy rozwoju współczesnych miast, pełnił i pełni funkcje w organach rad programowych, również jako ekspert międzynarodowych konferencji i kongresów.

Expert in space theory and new urban concepts, assistant professor at the Chair of Urban Geography and Spatial Planning of the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies at the University of Warsaw. For many years, he has also been associated with the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology, where he received his Master's degree, Ph.D. degree and habilitation. He received a distinction for best scientific paper in the National Competition of the Minister of Infrastructure for his doctoral thesis on changes in the development of divided cities. His habilitation dissertation on the theory of space in Suprematism was distinguished by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology. During the 2011–2014 term, following his appointment, he served as a Scientific Consultant of the “Poland 2000 Plus” Forecast Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He wrote numerous publications on the development of modern cities.
