Zainteresowania badawcze prof. dr hab. Zbigniewa Czachóra koncentrują się na szeroko rozumianej problematyce integracji europejskiej i Unii Europejskiej. Pierwszym tematem aktywności naukowej jest zinstytucjonalizowana forma wspólnej koordynacji polityki zagranicznej, bezpieczeństwa i obrony UE. Drugi obszar badawczy dotyczy kryzysów, procesów dezintegracji oraz zmian i rozwoju w systemie Unii Europejskiej. Trzecie pole badawcze wiąże się z demokracją europejską oraz parlamentarnym wymiarem integracji europejskiej i współpracą parlamentów narodowych w UE. Czwarte pole badawcze dotyczy obywatelstwa UE oraz praw i obowiązków obywateli UE. W piątym polu badawczym i analitycznym podejmuje on badania dotyczące integracji Polski z UE. Zainteresowania badawcze prof. dr hab. Zbigniewa Czachóra związane sa także z teorią integracji europejskiej oraz teorią poznania UE.

The research interests of Professor Zbigniew Czachór, Ph.D., D.Sc., focus on the broadly understood issues of European integration and the European Union. His first area of academic activity concerns the institutionalized form of joint coordination of the EU’s foreign, security, and defense policy. The second area of research deals with crises, processes of disintegration, and the changes and development within the EU system. The third field of study relates to European democracy, the parliamentary dimension of European integration, and the cooperation of national parliaments within the EU. The fourth area of research concerns EU citizenship, as well as the rights and obligations of EU citizens. In the fifth research and analytical area, Professor Zbigniew Czachór conducts studies on Poland’s integration with the European Union.
