Interesuję się procesami starzenia się jednostek w perspektuwie całego życia, w perspektywie ekonomii behawioralnej i instytucjonalnej. Moje badania koncentrują się na mechanizmach kształtowania preferencji i nawyków w ciągu całego życia; zdrowia i dobrotanu w końcu życia; międzypokoleniowych transferach finansowych między żyjącymi i pośmiertnymi; sieciach nieformalnego wsparcia niespokrewnionych; oraz inteligentnych rozwiązaniach miejskich dla starzejących się populacji. Obecnie badam wpływ komunizmu sowieckiego na preferencje i zachowania związane ze zdrowiem w późniejszym życiu oraz badam czynniki kształtujące preferencje dotyczące aktywnej mobilności i wybory środków transportu. Posiadam duże doświadczenie w międzynarodowej współpracy akademickiej i chętnie podzielę się swoim przemyśleniami dotyczącymi planowania kariery akademickiej i rozwoju zawodowego. I am courious about the processes of individual ageing over the life course as viewed from the perspective of behavioral and institutional economics. My research is focused on the formation of preferences and habits over the life course; outcomes in the end of life; inter vivos and post mortem intergenerational financial transfers; non-kin networks of informal support; and smart city solutions for ageing populations. Currently I investigate the impact of the exposure to communism on preferences and behaviours related to health in later life and examine factors shaping preferences towards active mobility and transport mode choices. I have broad experience in international scademic cooperation and willing to share my career planning and development advice.
