Zainteresowania badawcze:

Prowadzimy badania w modelach in vitro (m.in. hodowle pierwotne komórek mózgu i makrofagów) oraz in vivo (operacje stereotaktyczne, myszy transgeniczne). We współpracy z grupą obliczeniową IPI PAN prowadzimy także analizy bioinformatyczne, m.in. danych z doświadczeń scRNAseq.

description of research interests:

Research conducted by the Cellular Neurobiology Research Group focuses on the cellular mechanisms important for the pathogenesis of brain diseases. We focus primarily on the activity of glial cells (mainly astrocytes and microglia) and macrophages in the context of ischemic stroke, Alzheimer's disease and glioblastoma multiforme. In our work, we use in vitro models (including primary cultures of brain cells and macrophages) and in vivo model (stereotactic surgeries, transgenic mice). In cooperation with the IPI PAN, we also perform bioinformatic analyses such as scRNAseq data analysis.
