Realizowane projekty:
My current research focuses on three themes. 1) the interrelationship between populism, labour law, and social policy. In particular, I investigate whether the recent rise in populism has had a direct impact, positive or negative, on the situation of the working class. 2) explore the current legislation and judicial practice in the PRC that comes short of providing effective protection for platform workers’ legitimate rights and interests. China is currently working on developing its model of platform work ‘with Chinese characteristics’ (中国特色), adapted to the Chinese circumstances in terms of time, culture, politics, and ideology 3) algorithms in the workplace in the PRC. My ongoing project builds on the idea of algorithmic injustice (算法不正义) and China's attempt to regulate algorithms (算法)by setting up rules concerning both procedures for formulating algorithms (制定程序) and the content of algorithms (内容).
