Prowadzę badania sedymentologiczne neogeńskich basenów osadowych ze stref przesuwczy w Wietnamie, badania morskich utworów w Karpatach i zapadlisku przedkarpackim, w Polsce i na Ukrainie. Związane są one z ewolucją basenu karpackiego, synsedymenatcyjną tektoniką i ewolucją basenu przedgórskiego. Prowadzę również badania mające na celu testowanie nowych metod w sedymentologii. Współpracowałam z zespołami badawczymi prowadzącymi badania tektoniczne w Iranie oraz geoarcheologiczne w Egipcie. Prowadzone przeze mnie prace można podzielić na cztery zasadnicze grupy: [1] Miocen basenu przedkarpackiego: rekonstrukcja środowisk sedymentacji, architektura depozycyjna, relacja do basenu karpackiego; [2] Rekonstrukcja środowisk sedymentacji w basenach związanych ze strefami uskokowymi północnego i centralnego Wietnamu; [3] Zastosowanie nowych metod badawczych w sedymentologii; [4] Badania sedymentologiczne skał klastycznych w Iranie i Egipcie.

I carry out sedimentological studies of the Neogene sedimentary basins from the shear zones in Vietnam, studies of marine deposits in the Carpathians and the Carpathian Foredeep, in Poland and Ukraine. They are associated with the evolution of the Carpathian basin, synsedymentary tectonics and the evolution of the foreland basin. I also conduct research to test new methods in sedimentology. I cooperated with scientific teams conducting structural analysis in Iran and geoarchaeological investigations in Egypt. My achievements years can be subdivided into four groups: [1] Miocene of the Fore-Carpathian Basin: reconstruction of the sedimentary environments, depositional architecture, relationship to the Carpathian Basin; [2] reconstruction of sedimentary environments in basins related to the fault zones in northern and central Vietnam; [3] application of new research methods in sedimentology; and [4] sedimentological studies of clastic rocks in Iran and Egypt.
