description of research interests:
Dr. habil. Maciej Bernatt is the head of the Department of European Economic Law, Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw. He also acts as Scientific Secretary of the Centre of Antitrust and Regulatory Studies at the University of Warsaw and the Editor-in-Chief of the Yearbook of Antitrust and Regulatory Studies. He has received scholarships and research grants from several institutions, including the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission, the Polish Minister of Science and Higher Education, the Polish National Science Centre, the Foundation for Polish Science.
Maciej’s areas of interest include competition law, administrative law (judicial review, procedures), constitutional law, and EU law, as well as human rights in particular business-human rights relations and right to fair trial. He is interested how the digital and broader socio-economic changes affect law and legal systems.
